This may sound like a silly question but is the process serving procedures etc in Scotland the same as here in England.

I ask this as during my police career I had to serve notice of prosecutions on behalf of Scottish forces and I had to do silly things like take another officer as a witness etc? I know that they have different laws etc up there but dont know if process serving is different.

Any ideas as I have got two jobs coming in shortly that could possibly be in Scotland.
